This time I decided to take a trip to Uganda, a country in East Africa. The Ugandan trip to the equator was located in a place called Kayabwe, a small town, about a two-hour drive from Kampala, the capital city of Uganda. There are other towns in Uganda that pass the equator but Kayabwe is the most visited location.

I organized the tour from the taxi man who had picked me up from the airport the day prior and we agreed on a price of 120USD to take me there and back.
We left reasonably early and this proved to be vital because we avoided traffic and got to the location right before the massive crowds had arrived.
We did all of the usual experiments and the most impressive was balancing an egg on the equator line which is always a cool thing to do.

The water was spinning clockwise in the northern hemisphere and was spinning counter-clockwise in the southern hemisphere and no direction on the actual equator line.
There were quite a few restaurants and gift shops nearby and we enjoyed wandering around the area before we departed back to Kampala.

I even got this certificate after completion
